F&F’s brand managers weren’t happy. The translations they were being supplied with just weren’t good enough; nothing seemed to follow their tone of voice or brand guidelines. So, they asked us to step in.

We decided the best thing was to team a translator with an editor for five central European languages. Together they worked closely with the in-country managers to fine-tune the local guidelines and style guides. Once the language was right, the magazines were typeset in each language, allowing for language expansion.

Five magazines were produced and translated simultaneously, while edits in the original language were being made. But we like a challenge, so we meticulously tracked every single change. And every artwork went to press on time.
