This was a big one. PayPal’s campaign had to cross 45 markets from Europe to the Middle East, North America to South America, and from Asia to the Pacific. And it needed to work for 60” film spots, their graphics and subtitles.

The message was funny… in English, the challenge was to make it just as funny in all 45 markets. How did we do? Well, without giving away any secrets, suffice to say more than 300 people, including linguists, legal specialists, writers… and comedians, from every region were involved. 

Scripts were translated, so were taglines, titles and VO’s, as well as any legal copy. It was a big challenging job. The kind we love.

We helped select the VO’s, attended the recording sessions, even localised all the motion graphics. And it worked. People laughed, and got the message, in every region. We were happy with the campaign, but more importantly… so were PayPal.
